Toyota Prius c At a Glance

The Toyota Prius c was released in 2012 as a sibling to the Toyota Prius. That year, the subcompact car came in One, Two, Three, and Four trims, and, being a hybrid electric vehicle, it featured a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder gas engine that paired with an electric motor. Features that year ranged from automatic climate control and the Toyota Star Safety system to everything from Entune multimedia and push-button ignition to fog lights and alloy wheels.

For 2019, the final year for the five-door hatchback, it came in L and LE trims. Other than incorporating a continuously variable transmission (CVT), features ranged even more widely, from LED headlights and a navigation system to a satellite radio. You could even get perks such as roof rails and a power tilting and sliding moonroof with a sliding sunshade.
