A Brief History of The Toyota Paseo
Toyota Paseo was a subcompact car that was released in 1992. It ran for two generations, until 1998. Based on the L40 series Toyota Tercel, the model had sports-car styling, and its first generation came in the coupe body style; a convertible became available later, in and for 1997. The car had an inline-four engine and a choice among five-speed manual and three- and four-speed automatic transmissions, with front-wheel drive came standard. The Toyota Echo coupe became its successor in 1999, for 2000.
